Opening in late 2011, the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing (“Centre”) is a national hub designed to increase the awareness and effectiveness of social finance to catalyze new capital, talent and initiatives dedicated to tackling social and environmental problems in Canada. The Centre builds on the foundational work of MaRS and Social Innovation Generation (SiG), including the landmark report by the Canadian Task Force on Social Finance


Investors’ Circle works to a) catalyze the flow of capital to early stage companies that address major social and environmental problems and to b) grow and support our network of patient capital investors.

Responsible Endowments Coalition – The Responsible Endowments Coalition (REC) works to build and unify the college and university-based responsible investment movement, both by educating and empowering a diverse network of individuals to act on their campuses, and by fostering a national network for collective action. We empower young people to defend human rights and the environment while making both corporations and universities accountable to global stakeholders.


The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment – US SIF – Formerly the Social Investment Forum (SIF) – is the U.S. membership association for professionals, firms, institutions and organizations engaged in socially responsible and sustainable investing. US SIF and its members advance investment practices that consider environmental, social and corporate governance criteria to generate long-term competitive financial returns and positive societal impact.

 


The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) – The Global Impact Investing Network is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing the scale and effectiveness of impact investing. Impact investments aim to solve social or environmental challenges while generating financial returns.

 

 


The Financial Alliance for Sustainable Trade –  FAST brings together this diverse group of stakeholders for the first time to work collectively to increase the number of producers in developing nations who can successfully access quality trade finance, tailored to their business needs, as they enter sustainable market.

SRI in the Rockies – The SRI Conference on Sustainable, Responsible, Impact Investing (formerly SRI in the Rockies) is the premier annual gathering of investors and investment professionals working to direct the flow of investment capital to enhance the common good.
